Greetings to all,

Our teams at QLDG and Kennedys have been working very hard on the 2017 Miami | Latin American Claims (re) Insurance Forum since the closing of the 2016 Forum and the final program is now ready as attached.

This is the third annual Claims Forum and panels will discuss claims topics from a technical and also from the underwriting perspective, with underwriting and claims personnel from the region sharing their respective insights on the coverage offered and their expectations when claims occur.

Like in previous years, we have top industry speakers confirmed and topics and case studies have been carefully chosen following the results of our 2016 survey and the Latin American insurance industry’s interest.

Last year´s speakers and participants included INTERNATIONAL representatives from the following companies: TransRe, Zurich, Chubb, Liberty, AIG, AGCS, Marketform, XLCatlin, Munich Re, Swiss Re, Divina Pastora, Barents Re, Everest Re, QBE, Lloyd’s of London and Ironshore.

In addition, we had key speakers from RTS International Loss Adjusters, Thornton Tomasetti, advanta, Kennedys and QLDG.

The success of the event in 2015 and 2016 proved that there are high quality worldwide professionals dealing with claims in Latin America, and a desire to work and improve as an industry.

We are proud that the market entrusted us a few years ago with the de facto mandate to act as a conduit for that to happen and, as such, there will be annual editions of the Miami Forum.

As previously mentioned, based on the feedback received from participants in 2016 and many contacts thereafter, the program for 2017 will again be highly interactive and will address not only theory and recent developments but also the most important topics based on case studies.

Due to its great success, we would like to maintain the original essence and due to that this is an exclusive event. Attendance is by referral only and is non-transferable. Capacity is limited and allotted on a first-come first-served basis. Some people were not able to attend the previous 2015 and 2016 Forums due to capacity limitations.

Dress code is business casual and the forum is to be conducted in English.
