Latin America has been a key part of Contego’s business for over 25 years and because we believe that it’s important to operate close to the markets we serve, we’re fulfilling our long held plans to bring London market capacity to Miami – delivering our products and service at the high standard that Contego has always provided, through a local presence.

All of our Latin American business will be underwritten from Miami, an expansion that we expect to significantly increase our standing in the region. Not only will Miami give us a great platform to distribute our specialisms into Latin America and capitalise on the wealth of opportunities presented in the region, but it will enable us to deliver more for our clients and maximise our working relationships with on the ground service.

Anthony Willsher, one of the founding directors and existing underwriters of Contego, will lead the new office, which is a major milestone in our growing worldwide operations.
