Grupo RTS, the loss adjustment and appraisal office with more than 15 years’ presence in Portugal and Latin America and more than 27 years’ experience providing services to the insurance market, will be participating in the free-to-attend seminar “Management of international claims between Spain and Latin America”. The event is being organised by the international legal firm Kennedys and will take place in their Madrid Office (Paseo de Recoletos, 27) on Thursday 10 March.

José Caraballo, CEO of RTS and Director of the company’s Construction division, will lead a presentation on the first practical case in the session: a loss occurring in the construction sector, specifically affecting the construction of a motorway in Chile by a Spanish construction firm, with insurers in both Chile and Spain as well as a German reinsurer in Argentina. The objective of the roundtable is to demonstrate how different teams of legal advisors and adjusters can be coordinated when dealing with complex cases like this.

Another two practical cases will be covered in the workshop: the D&O loss affecting insurance programmes in Spain and Argentina (links between master policies and local policies) and a comparison of “class actions” in the contexts of Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
