Brit Hires Guillermo Eslava to Expand its LatAm Team

Guillermo joins Brit’s Miami-based Latin America business and his focus will be on creating a Casualty and allied lines Treaty and Facultative portfolio in the Latin America and Caribbean region, he will report into Juan Calvache. The move underscores Brit’s strategy to expand in the Latin American region from its Miami platform, led by Juan Calvache.

Prior to joining Brit, Guillermo was Treaty and Facultative Regional Manager at Swiss Re with responsibility for Latin America. He began his career as a practicing attorney in Colombia, working for a number of firms specializing in banking, finance and insurance litigation.
