Laura Tatyana Sánchez Niño is the Miami office Director at R&G Espinosa Associates S.A. , an international insurance and reinsurance adjustment firm.

Laura is an insurance specialist attorney with claims and technical expertise in Latin America.  She has been handling General Liability Claims including Products in domestic territory and overseas, Directors and Officers Liability, Public Servant Liability, Errors and Omissions as well as MedMal. Additionally, she has expertise in Banker´s Blanket Bond and Commercial Crime policies.

Laura graduated with honors from the Universidad de Norte de Barranquilla Law School in Colombia. She began her professional career in the Compañía Suramericana de Seguros Colombia in the claim Division. She had previously served as an Ad-Honorem member or the Atlantic Administrative Tribunal. Later, she became part of a local law firm Sánchez Abril Abogados, where she successfully promoted the General Liability and Insurance area. In 2006, she began studies in Insurance Law at the Universidad Javeriana, Colombia and obtained a specialist degree. That same year, Aon Risk Services Colombia, S.A. recruited her to manage the Financial Lines and General Liability area. She succeeded in establishing a position for the area in the Company from a technical and claims management point of view. In 2011, she moved to Mexico City joining Cunningham Lindsey México where she performed as a Mexico office attorney and adjuster specialist for Financial Lines and Casualty. She was assigned as part of the Global Product Liability Practice Group. Currently, Laura lives in the United States and R&G Espinosa has chosen her to manage the Company’s office in Miami, FL, and oversee the Financial Lines and Casualty Division.

• Product Liability Claims for manufacturing defects in container production, automotive parts and tire companies, among others, USA and Colombia.
• Several General Liability Cases, Colombia, Mexico, Central America.

• BBB and Commercial crime claims from employee disloyalty of various forms in investment accounts, traditional and mortgage loans as well as counterfeiting cases, Colombia and Mexico.
• Program placement and claims management, loss notifications for MedMal for Hospitals and Clinics.
• Program placement and claims management for Directors and Managers in Financial Institutions and other non-financial institutions as well as General Liability for Public Employees in public and private entities, Colombia.
• Several Casualty claims in Hotel Industry, including Fun fair park and cruise lines, Mexico.
