Conclusions and photos: Claims handling and the energy reforms in Mexico

The seminar began with an overview of McLarens and  Mexico by Howard Laidlaw, Regional Director Latin America at McLarens.

Later, David Matias, Country Manager of Mexico at McLarens opened with a brief summary of the areas within the energy sector which are expected to be impacted by the  Act . David  commented on the timeline of the status and actual implementation of the reforms.

Additionally, discussed the involvement of the Energy sector – Oil, Gas and Electricity believed to impact the telecommunications and construction sectors.

The McLarens’ team focused on the hypothesis pertaining to the handling and adjusting of claims under a climate of new structural changes.

To conclude, attendees discussed the similarities between Mexico’s energy reforms and that of Venezuela’s a few years ago.
